Highlights...not just a magazine at your dentist office.

So the PAINTBALL EXTRAVAGANZA has once again come and gone.

Here are the highlights in numbers.

• 7 friends that came through after quite a bit of moping on J's part (I'm gonna take up chess or something else old-mannish all my friends are no fun, piss, moan, whine)

• 1 weird random guy who joined into their paintball game (I'm not sure how that worked, but I'm picturing him loitering around the entrance of the park wearing a long trenchcoat, dark glasses and a fedora...and he came with his own gear.  Yikes.)

• 4 inches worth of dent in J's bumper because while leaving the paintball place in an state of adrenaline induced stupidity (yah. I said it) he backed into a pole

• 349 (approximate) disgusting paintball welts and wounds that were fodder for many "war" stories throughout the night

• 16 wifely heads shaking at the idiocy of men

• 32 my first count on guests coming over after the extravaganza (it came to light the morning of, that because of my sad organizational skills and even sadder list-making abilities that instead of the 16 adults and 16 kids I had thought we had invited we actually had 32 adults and about 20 kids coming.oops)

• 2 legholes busted out of a pair of Joe Boxers as Jacob received an atomic wedgie from one of the other partiers (the kid's party was apparently WAY more hardcore than the adults)

• 1 child I had to ask to put their shorts and shirt back on due to some underpants streaking in the basement (told you they were hardcore and yes that child was mine and no I don't think I need to tell you which one)

• 11:30 everyone was out the door, proving once again that the "make it til midnight" party is still slightly out of our reach.  Maybe when all those kids are grown up.

I don't know what kind of parent would let their child wedgie another with such enthusiasm as to ruin a perfectly nice pair of "underpants." Shameful really. I wonder what goes on in that home.
