Oh and with all the scrapbooking excitement I forgot to post the photo I promised of Gorgeous George.
But before I do that, as per usual with GG's antics, I think you might need a little background.
A couple of weeks ago some very good friends of ours invited us out to a country bar to see a band of a guy that she went to school with.
Initially, I thought "how fun!" (forgetting the whole "country music makes me feel rage" thing GG has going on).
Then my parents, who are just back from Mexico, thought they might come visit us that weekend.
And lastly, we've been trying to stick to a budget lately and had used up all our "fun" money on beer and pogos (I kid.
...sort of)
So we opted out and ended up having an impromptu get together with a couple of other friends.
GG was working slightly later but had asked me to get out his cowboy boots (I need to explain that these are cowboy boots purchased a couple of years ago for a Halloween costume, lest you think GG moonlights as a bronc rider) before I left.
As you may know, we are always up for a theme party and if the theme has any kind of costume involved, we are in.
And sometimes, we like to create a theme party when it is not really necessary and some may say, even inappropriate.
And with that, I present to you, Gorgeous George's "I Hate Country Music" costume.
The sad part?
His legs look better than mine do in shorts.
And the next day, not to be outdone, one of his friends came over to help him work on our deck in even shorter shorts, a wife-beater tank and a tool belt.
I think this is just a preview of what this summer is going to be like.
Them's some mighty fine boots! You'se be one lucky little lady!! (that's my cowboy accent...all said with a grimace one my face!)

Those shorts are way to long. He needs to cut them shorter so that the pockets and other things might hang out. I saw that at a bar once and have never forgotten it.

I....feel....sick.... Sorry, Jason, but those shorts are just a bit too much! I can't wait to show this photo to Greg!
You know, now that I look the photo longer (yes, I'm a glutton for punishment) it reminds of something Borat would wear. ;)
Love you anyway! Christine

Greg said something really rude when he saw these photos. G-rated translation is that you look like one of the Village People...
Oh, and he wants you to know that now that he's running 3x/week his legs are even cuter than yours!

Dang-I could have supplied you with a whole lotta satin fringe. The only thing missing from the ensemble...
